I have explained this expressions for more than 10 times. I totally understood the expression and corrected my students whenever they misunderstood it.
When I was doing my online job last Monday I suddendly felt regetful that I took that job. I felt very tired that time and I wanted it to finish. It's a good thing that she couldn't see me. My eyes were so heavy that they wanted to close. What's more, we had a problem with the connection which made the conversation 2-3 seconds late. Then suddenly that expression came to my mind and realized that I was one of those people who treat life like a slot machine.
I want to have a lot of money and yet I don't like to work hard...I don't like to put more effort...
I even got tired continuing my masters...
Maybe that's why a lot of people try their luck to win the lottery. It's easy money...
Maybe that's why Barbie thought of joining game shows instead of working. It's easy money...
However...sometimes...maybe...people just get tired...
"Life is so tiring..." Bernie said "No! You are just tired of what you're doing but not of life" My mom replied.
My mom was right when she said this. People get bored of the routinized things that they do everyday. People frequently search for new things...something noble...something fun...something out of ordinary...
But can we really get tired of something we like? I think not... If you get tired of doing so then you must not like it. Maybe you haven't found the thing that you must have been doing...
We would continue to get tired until we find the right thing for us...but we shouldn't lose hope...like my baby always tells me whenever I feel down...whenever I feel that my life is a mess...
"Time will come...in God's time"
I don't want to be one of those people who treat life like a slot machine. Whenever I feel tired of working...this expression would pop out in my mind and give me the strength to continue what I'm doing. My mom...my baby...they always give me hope and courage to face life and to always hope for the best...
"God has plan for me..."
